Series of musical installations for diffent varieties of plants
2014

Each work of this series is a musical installation dedicated to a plant. The first version has been developed for a variety of cactus from South America with strange shapes. 4 copies of this cactus exist with their audio devices: Marcel in the botanic garden in Nancy, Françoise in the public command Souvenir des îles for the congress center Prouvé in Nancy, and the last 2, Phèdre and Arsène are used for different exhibitions.

Music is based on historical or aesthetic qualities of each plant. Writing is discrete, adapted to the supposed biological rhythm of the plant. The piece develops a series of themes that accompany the slow variations of the ''listener''.

Other compositions are in preparation for euphorbia, rhipsalis or sedum…
